Why
PTA? |
| |
|
A PTA (or PTSA) unit is a local, self-governing membership
association whose main purpose is to serve the needs and
desires of its members in promoting the health, welfare,
safety and education of children and youth.
By affiliating with Oregon PTA, a parent group shows it
cares about the future of ALL Oregon schools and students.
Through their association with Oregon PTA, an individual
PTA enjoys immediate representation statewide and nationally.
From the beginning, the work is no longer about just your
school’s immediate needs but all of Oregon’s
schools’ needs.
By joining a PTA (or PTSA) an individual is pledging their
support and belief in every child in Oregon. To become a
member, contact your local PTA school or click
here to join.
